Pennies 04:17
---------- Lyrics Smells like a storm is coming waiting for the weather to break we're always waiting for the rain drop a penny in the well count how long it falls we're always wishing for the echoes of a memory It always feels like the axis turns on me waiting for some tidal disruption to carry me away hoping for the glass borders to break dropping pennies in the well and wishing for the rain Smells like the ashes burning waiting for the weather to break we're always running from the pain dropping pennies in the well count how long it falls we're always looking for someone else to blame It always feels like the axis turns on me waiting for some tidal disruption to carry me away hoping for the glass borders to break dropping pennies in the well and wishing for the rain

---------- Lyrics Lights going down I'm weaving through the back streets, feel the pulsing of the Heartbeats that pass me by, eyes wide as I'm turning right Exhaust fumes rising up in the night air, chase the feeling of Anticipation gathering, evidence of my fear Possibilities (Makes me brave every time my courage wanes) Washing over me (Call me loud trying to make out what your saying) Night falling down I'm trying to shed this old skin, Lose my frame and All of my old friends, hell bent on changing I jumped a train without thinking and found myself here Lost in the city, lost in the city Possibilities (Makes me brave every time my courage wanes) Washing over me (Call me loud trying to make out what your saying) Possibilities (Neon lights tell me everything will change) Washing over me (Breathe in the fear and take your aim) Possibilities (Diamond white tell me everything's alright) Washing over me (Breathe in the fear and take your aim)

---------- Lyrics I'm getting tired, so tired of reading between too many lines. Just forget the world outside, I'll play with the fragments recombined In my mind, left behind. Apologies pushed to one side. Good intentions undermined, I'll play with these notions undefined. What did you mean? What did you really mean? But if your heart was mine somewhere, sometime. But if your heart was mine somehow unkind. What did you mean? What did you really mean? I'm getting tired, so tired of all those chances slipped behind. Repositioned one more time, I'll play with the fragments swept aside. What did you mean? What did you really mean? But if your heart was mine somewhere, sometime. But if your heart was mine somehow unkind. What did you mean? What did you really mean?

Silent Room 03:54
Turn the dial switch the station I wanna run but you're moving too fast for me Left my notes in the margins This silent room is talking too loud at me Chasing down these fools errands I stayed in bed and licked my wounds today Left my footprints on the pavement You're standing still but I'm still left in your wake Three simple words to make you feel better Go ask the watcher what he has in store for me Just trying to get a hold on this ladder Caught in your midnight web and I cant get free No I cant get free But don't wait for me No don't wait for me Turn the dial switch the station I wanna read but you're moving too fast to see Wrote my name on the pavement This city noise is calling out my name Three simple words to make you feel better Go ask the watcher what he has in store for me Just trying to get a hold on this ladder Caught in your midnight web and I cant get free No I cant get free But don't wait for me No don't wait for me

You had me believing we were broken So we painted our faces and grew our hair Adolescence spelled out in eyeliner There's no shortcuts through there Would you still sing my name If no-one ever listened? Still write down how it felt If no-one ever reads? All the same kind of nothing But our nothings don't function the same Soft and lost and lonely Long, dark and sustained Would you still sing my name If no-one ever listened? Still write down how it felt If no-one ever reads? But to make yourself feel nothing To not feel anything Oh what a waste What a waste Would you still sing my name If no-one ever listened? Still write down how it felt If no-one ever reads?

And I walked through the woods Evening traffic roars behind like wolves in the night Would things change if I could? Conversations in my mind Just a few steps more Killed by the calm in your voice Just a few steps more Drowned in the depths of your eyes Just a few steps more Ripples on the stream Guided by the autumn leaves And I get lost in the noise Just following your voice Questions on the breeze Guided by the autumn leaves Easy like one, two, three Was it something you did to me? Your presence unseen takes me from behind Ask me your questions Get the same answers each time. Just a few steps more Killed by the calm in your voice Just a few steps more Drowned in the depths of your eyes Just a few steps more Ripples on the stream Guided by the autumn leaves

Do you still think of me the way I think of you The words don't fall from me the way they do for you Our tainted chemistry, I guess I should've known But oh, when you smiled at me Flirting with shadows but running from the dark Don't turn around on your way out Playing with sunlight but crying when it burns Don't turn around on your way out Ok, but just a little, just a little Do you ever cry at films the way I cried for you? The narratives play out but not like me and you Our haunted love story, I guess I should've known But oh, when you smiled at me Flirting with shadows but running from the dark Don't turn around on your way out Playing with sunlight but crying when it burns Don't turn around on your way out Ok, but just a little, just a little

The moon looks sharp tonight cutting through the atmosphere dark shadows pierce the light so lonely and austere my breath fogs up like ice but all my thoughts are crystal clear I won't let you break my stride I am getting out of here Sharp footsteps pound behind stirring up my hopes and fears your voice rings clear and bright it echoes in my ears Such force and eloquence that every word is insincere I won't let you break my stride I am getting out of here What do you take me for? You don't love me anymore and I'm not the girl to stick around just to numb your pain Your broken and wounded soul it only keeps you in control but I realized and it's hit me like a bullet to my brain

Driving Away 06:05
Let's drive away, just me and you City lights sparkle on the highway Chasing the pretty lies and staring at the neon blue Wishing I was somewhere new Finding new ways to say what we already knew Let's drive away just me and you Shining stars sparkle on the horizon A new beginning again because Your demons are not your friends Wishing I was still with you Finding things to say that sound like they're true We're all in the same game Just different levels We're all in the same hell Fighting different devils Just drive away Let's drive away just you and me This place, it aint what it used to be City lights don't sparkle like they used to Empty like the neon blue Wishing I was somewhere new Finding new ways to say what we already knew We're all in the same game Just different levels We're all in the same hell Fighting different devils Just drive away

about

----------

My debut album! These songs are the product of 30 years of angst and one year of hard work. Writing these songs and making this album helped me come to terms with a lot of things and I'm very proud of the result.
